I know he only signed a new contract last year but I would seriously consider giving him an uplift. He is already one of the top three players at the club and should be one of the top earners
may need to free up some cap space in the next 12 months to to it mind

Agreed. Wigan really couldn't afford to let Sam Tomkins go. I think it's going to be a very long time, if ever, before that debate arises and we ever let him go. As has been said, he's already in the top three best players in the club, and it's only his second full season in the first team.

Hes contracted until nov 2014 that 4 full season after this year, lets wait until 2012 eh 
His contract most likely include performance based bonuses anyway |
