McGuire is the biggest cheat in the game. He cost us the Challenge Cup QF with his blatent cheating, and now he's cost us a home SF in the Prem trophy with blatent, blatent cheating.
He got injured because he cheated. I hope he fit enough to play RL again on the 3rd October.

Senior tested this rule earlier in the year, so we already knew the answer. Personally I think both should have been off for kicking out.

As for the penalty, Crusaders would feel very hard done by if we hadn't gotten the penalty, they suffered that recently, only difference is Pat failed.

As for McGuire, hopefully that will put players off taking out players off the ball, seriously annoying, but I'd assume it was worth it to him.

Now to get some form back on Friday.

I honestly think we may struggle next week but if we do get through it I hope and pray we play Leeds. I would want to win that game more then any other game I can remember in an awful long time and we are more then capable of doing it.

Getting there could prove tricky though.

I think (and hope) that a lot of the negative comments about McGuire are due to post match anger and are heat of the moment.

I'm surprised by the lack of professionalism by the Leeds set up. Apparently, McClennan gobbed back at some Wigan fans outside of the ground and then there was all the on field antics from Lauitiiti, Sinfield et al. It's a sad state of affairs when a team who have had such success in recent years have to resort to cheap, unprofessional behaviour.

We lost it ourselves, shi*te kicking game when Deacs went off, stupid penalties, boring attack etc.
Theres loads of ifs and buts.
Ref was awful...for both teams, so it didn't really affect the game so much.
the only thing i'll 'moan' about is i think we could have scored at the end there had Maguire not 'cheated' as we'll put it, you can't justify that by saying any player would have done it, yes they would, but it's still illegal. I'm not happy he got injured, but nor to i feel sorry for him.
Leeds had a poor first 20 minutes or so then they showed up and blew us away really, Greg Eastwood was awesome as was Rob Burrow.
Whilst it would have been an exciting game, discipline was poor form both sides, J Tomkins showed himself up(as did Sam imo, thoughi need to watch those again) and Leeds players gobbing off.
Also people saying Richars bottled it, they were not easy kicks by any stretch of the imagination, the last one was near impossible. It may be harder but if we want to get to old trafford and are good enough then we will, we've already over achieved this year'.
