we've just had our best season for years, blooded more youngsters than most teams do in 5 seasons and signed real quality for next year.

Never expected to win the GF this year but with other teams injuries (Leeds) getting old (saints) and lack of consistancy (wire) we have just as much chance as the usual subjects

next year is the year I would expect us to be challenging anything this year would be a brucie bonus

I don't think he's criticising Wigan in the slightest but just doing as job as HKR skipper by trying to rally them.

In all honesty if he'd have come out and really said he thought we'd fall short then i'd probably agree with him because i'm sadly of that opinion. I think we're starting to get some injuries at a poor time and i've thought for a while that we're just a touch short. We've had an amazing year and found the consistancy we've needed for years but I think 2011 will be the year when at least one if not both of the big 2 trophies come back to Wigan.

Evryone is now saying Wire must be favourites to win. All the hype after them winning the challenge, cup, now they might well do, but i still think we're the best team in the league (proven) and we SHOULD win it.
