| H is signed to Wigan until the end of next season and has been offered a new contract extension, he has injured his shoulder but it is NOT a reoccurence of his recent bicep tear, he felt it pop at the weekend but had to come off after making a more couple more tackles.
He spent yesterday in hospital getting scans and x-rays which turned out to be inconclusive but the Doc said he DOESNT need an op and he is hopeful to be back soon but he is gutted.
by the way i asked him at 3pm about his so called Salford move and he is still laughing about it now! the paper printed his name instead of Phil Bailey!

Thanks for the info.
So he doesn't need an operation, hopeful to be back soon? Not having dislocated my shouler myself, how long do these things take to heal?
Could we see him take part in the playoffs afterall?

| Thanks for posting Binosh.
A fair smattering of unflattering comments on HH on this thread, which I find puzzling to be honest.
He is a top class SL player IMO and would strengthen the first team squad of any of our rivals so I would definitely want him to stay at Wigan long term. Yes in the era of the CC we need to be careful with cash but he's the sort of player we want at Wigan.

| He loves the club as far as I can see and I dont see any reason for him to leave Wigan Rugby League.
However people to say he is just an average player shocks me, the considerable size he has put on in the last 12 months or so (not surprising since Madge and Bitcon came on board) is unbelievable for me and he now looks more of a second rower rather than a centre filling in at second row.
He has delivered this season whenever asked, he kept hold of the ball after THAT massive hit by Morley in the win at the HJ which for me set the marker for our season, put us top and we have stayed there ever since. He come back from that injury and scored the tremendous try at Headingly showing a mixture of strength, pace and sheer determination that he wasnt going to be stopped.
Long may it continue H.

| H rarely breaks the line when taking the ball up, and all in all wasn't really missed when he was out for a good few months, it was that period when we really established ourselves as league leaders.
Great work ethic, great tackle work rate as a solid often mistake free forward, but not a world beater. There are already better more talented runners of the ball in the back row than him.

True to a certain extent but he's the type of player every team needs one of in the 17. He tackles like his life depends on it, runs good lines and generally works his socks off for every second he is on the pitch.
