I hope Mcnamara can prove the doubters wrong and perform well as the new coach because the talent is there to have a real good crack this year.
Don't think its fair to write him off before a single competitive game though like some have. I wish him the best of luck, I think he has every reason to be optimistic.

Eastmond scored the winning try against us in the final eliminator and then was Stains best player in the Grand Final last season. Hardly the stuff of someone who is "soft".

I like Eastmond and can't help but think he's merely going through a bad injury spell, lots of players have them and he's young enough to put this season behind him injury wise and be a major star next season. Give me Eastmond and Tomkins against the Aussies please, I don't know about Widdop and am not sure about what I've seen of McGuire in internationals (although I'll admit I'm not a great watcher of the international scene)
Unfortunately for Myler, Eastmond and Tomkins have turned up at the same time and despite playing in a top SL team in 2010 hasn't even held a candle to Tomkins this year. What I will say is that Mylers standing in the eyes of Wigan fans has undoubtedley plummeted after he demonstrated his lack of class at the HJ in February.
