St Helens have been our biggest and most hated rivals for longer than anyone can remember. The amount of Finals, Semi Finals, Good Friday & Boxing Day derbies over the decades. Just because you're having a good run of form, and a couple of successful seasons, does not make you our closest or fiercest rivals.

Saints will always be our biggest/closest/fiercest rivals. Warrington are like that annoying kid in class who tries to hang around with the big boys to prove he is 'hard'.

I just can't help but feel a bit of jealousy and bitterness coming from you Wiganers towards the mighty Wire. We are a club very much on the up,a club that owns its own stadium with the best support in SL so have a bit of respect will you for what we are achieving.

Best support? Our average home crowds for the season are more than your ground hold and so is Leeds, to be the best you would have to sell out EVERY game...do you? How are you bigger than Saints? And that's your problem right there. Wigan and Saints have great history over the last 20 years, Wire don't. Wire haven't even been at the top of the ladder for 10 years, yes your doing ok now but let's see if you can contain that level for the next 5-10 years that both Wigan and Saints have done. That's why we respect them more than you.
