Looking for somewhere nice to eat in Wigan before Sunday's game. Will be coming into Wigan from Manchester.

If you're after pub grub, Moon under Water or Mortimers, both within 5mins of train station if that's how you're getting here.

Pizza Hut, Frankie & Benny's (italian), Jamal's (Indian, BYOB) and The Red Robin (pub) are all on the retail park next to the ground.

Cheers, coming by car and getting in around 4.30 so it doesn't have to be too close. Know the retail park options, F&B's is usually decent.

Be careful if you pick the retail park, they clamp on match days. Not sure what the time limit is but there are signs up.

To Hudds fans: It's on the right hand side, on the mini roundabout just before you turn into the official car parks near the Soccerdome.

book a room at the travel lodge in orrell,go to sorrentos or the mount for tea,catch the bus outside the mount to the ground,have a few beers and drive home in the morning
