| For the two cop out "on reports" he should get a special limited edition referees uniform with added yellow streak down the back.
He's like the guy at work that everyone knows is rubbish at his job, but shouts so much that he's really good (honest) and his bosses give him a promotion because they believe his hype.
I didn't expect a good performance from him so at least I didn't get disappointed.

| Quote: El Barbudo "No, I didn't and neither did you.
I see that Shaun Wane, speaking in the dressing room after the game, believes that Ablett's "thuggery", as you lot call it, was "clumsy" and "probably not malicious".
I'd guess that he realises that "thuggery" has never been part of Ablett's game.
Anyone who attempts to defend or excuse Ablett's action of last Friday, in any shape or form, is not a genuine sports fan, but a self-interested phoney. Welcome to the ever expanding colony of such who appear to follow Leeds Rhinos.

123.jpg No trees were harmed during the creation of this post.
However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

| For me, there was only 1 simple question to come out of that "tackle" on Friday:
How much damage do you have to inflict in order to be sent off?
Honest answers please? If that wasn't a straight red, then how much damage (or potential damage) needs to be inflicted before it becomes one?
And as for using Wane's words as a defence for that assault, it smacks of desperation by the Rhino's management.
On that subject, El Barbudo, unlike your coach who whines about wrestling and condones physical assault, our coaching staff have a touch of class.
Wane could easily have screamed for a 6-week ban (ala Nathan Brown), or started bitching about the blatant attack to the head.
Instead, he said what was necessary to sweep it under the carpet, as it's already out there for the world to review and pass judgement, and he got back to the important stuff, like the fact that we won anyway.
If Ablett receives less than the full 3 matches, I'll be worried about the state of our game. There seems to be zero protection for players from premeditated acts of violence on the field.

| Ganson had a poop game on friday, i dont think any sane individual can argue against ablett being sent off (well apart from ganson).
but the sin binning was a crucial cock up, Coley commited a foul (in the eyes of Ganson) 4 minutes of game time after after wigan had recieved a warning, so by the rules he had to sin binned.
however leeds recieve a warning for consistent penalties, 4 minutes later JJB piles into the Sam in the air, penalty awarded correctly but no sin bin?
i dont mind if refs bin players for a team consistantly giving away penaltys, but lets be consistant.
on a side note how out of his depth was alibert on saturday?

on a side note how out of his depth was alibert on saturday?'" Agree with all that. Alibert was useless on Saturday, the incident where Graham 'politely' asked him to move probably shows what players think of him, he gets in the way all the time and does a little prance to avoid players running into him with varying success. If Wire had taken a quick tap, Graham would have been unable to see and could have easily conceded a try. Now the way he said it was totally uncalled for but he'd have more success 'pi**ing in the wind' than having a try disallowed because the ref was in the way. It was a far too quick and far too important game for a ref of his calibre.
