i really hope the guy stays fit, i know he aint a world beater an his best days are behind him but he really can bring so much to this team! when on his game he almost takes the team to another level. now im not saying he single handedly does it on his own but when he does his thing he allows the the rest of the team to do their thing with so much freedom but yet the structure is still there.
yes maybe i might be going a bit too far with this and i'm not for one min saying it is down to him because it is a great team effort at the moment but i think his control is a massive bonus to wigan especially when there not on the front foot!
i really do think in the big games he can an will be a big influence for Wigan without being spectacular!

The most pleasing aspect of Deacons play in the past 2 games has been his defence imo. It was a worry for me going into last weeks game but he's been solid as a rock and he looks very sharp with ball in hand now aswell.
He's keeping us ticking over nicely at the moment and linking well with Sam. He'll be important for us in the play offs if he stays fit. Eddie mentioned in the Wane interview that he hurt his hamstring tonight.
