Quote thepriestman85="thepriestman85"Both Coley's and Peacocks tackles made contact with the head which by Child's definition of the rules is a straight red. If one was a tap to the head and the other was a fully fledged blow to it it would make little difference.'"

You really are scrapping the bottom of the barrel there.
Quote thepriestman85="thepriestman85"Anyway this thread has died a really slow death.
For me it’s a pathetic decision made by an incompetent ref and there is a real worry on my part that the game is going soft. Your opinion seems to be that it’s the worse tackle that’s ever been committed on an RL pitch.
I can’t be ar$ed arguing anymore.'"
So where have I implied it was "the worse tackle that's ever been committed on an RL pitch"? Like everyone else who didn't watch the game with their head up their backside I saw it was deserving of a red and given his previous Coley was going to get a ban of some sort. No more, no less.
It never ceases to amaze me how some people seem to be blinded by the cherry and white specs. Even Coley admitted guilt knowing he would get a ban. Obviously he's just being soft as well.
