www.rugbyleaguelive.co.uk/ down the bottom - Charnley scored 2 along with a bunch of other players.

17 First Teamers missing and the Under 18's playing told the story.

The original h'cap line was a gift as was the 48 (which they'd covered by half time).

the website isnt accurate with the scorers, i can tell you as I was at the game that haggerty got 4 not two and there are other discrepancies but still its a blackpool record and will do us no harm with regards chasing promotion as far as points diff is concerned.

Quote: Green Warrior "[size132-0[/size

who were the try scorers?

is this a record?'"

It is a record for a league game (the previous record was Castleford 106-0 Rochdale in 2007). The world record for a rugby league game is Huddersfield 142-4 Blackpool Gladiators in 1994 in the Regal Trophy. That came on the day before Barrow beat Nottingham 138-0 also in the Regal Trophy.

It is also the second time this year that Gateshead have conceded 100. They were beaten 100-4 by Batley in the Northern Rail Cup (the record win in that competition).

I only saw one cock up on the scorers, Haggerty got 3 and Ballard 1, not 2 each - seemed the mistake was made when Ballard passed to Haggerty when Ballard had already gone over the line (17th minute try).

The other one you may have assumed that Haggerty scored in the second half saw him return the favour to Ballard.

The other "gimme" try saw Mayberry hand on to Paul Anderson to score, again, although already over the line.

Must admit I didn't enjoy seeing that sort of thing go on, but we never eased up - points difference could easily decide the title this season.
