Some of you Wigan fans need a reality check and are like some wire fans, yeah you have lost tonight, but if someone had said you would be top of league at this stage by 2 points at start you would of laughed. Yeah quins aint best but Super league is so much better this year than before. Players may of thought it would be easier than they thought but give them a break, i am sure you will be top 3 at end of season at least.

I agree. Quins are better now they have Dorn & Purdham fit. We had 7 players out injured, you can't afford that. One or two yes but 7 was too much for us to cope with. Every side would struggled in the same circumstances, like Leeds proved.

The reason I'm upbeat is that we were a bit of luck away from getting away with a win despite those circumstances.

Quins were coming into form and were heading out of it with injuries mounting. We have a good squad that can cope with a few injuries but there were so many out of position tonight it was too much to cope with in the end. I think we got screwed on a couple of decisions but Quins have been royally screwed by the officials whenever ive seen them this season so they were due a bit of luck.

A purple patch inspired on his home ground by man of the match WIGAN CAPTAIN Sean O’Loughlin produced three tries in an eight-minute spell just before half-time, and the GB Lions added two more after the break to maintain Smith’s 100 per cent record as Great Britain coach. Sat 27th April 2002 St Helens 12 Wigan 21 Edinburgh - Sat 4th May 2002 Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Glasgow (Carlsberg dont do weeks, but if they did.....) //www.internationalrugbyleague.net/:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_36409.jpg

But Bilko did we have 7 players injured? Lets just say if it was St Helens or Leeds we played last night would that same team have played? I doubt it!
The lack of respect shown to our opponents was terrible and i, for one want to go watch on a week to week basis without getting beat and deciding its acceptable because we won x amount in the last 11 or 12 weeks.. Losing that game is a monumental blow to our finishing spot at the end of the season. Of course il have to just accept it but its taking some doing!

100% correct. Some people on here need to step back into reality. We were never going to go, after Bradford, unbeaten this season. We lost last night and I can guarantee we will lose again.

Stop over reacting, we lost but we are still clear at the top of SL by 4points. Possibly being reduced to 2 should Wire win.
