Yes we did miss him today. Fieldens workrate and tackling is missed and undervalued by some people. His whole game is massively improved this year and even in previous seasons his defence has never been in question for me.
It would of been better to see him play today but probably in Madges eyes needed a rest. Today again he would of got through alot of work and stopped Phil Leuluai offloading for fun in the second half.

I don't think we missed Fielden too much, although his presence would have probably made us slightly stronger.

I thought O'Carroll was very good today.

And all started by the same person. His hero Riddell gets injured amd we soldier on just fine without him, so he tries the same tactic now with Stu. Why rise to the bait?

Very true, was our best prop by a mile yesterday. Prescott still making the same stupid errors though which is starting to become the norm every week for him, he needs to step it up or could be in danger of losing his spot.

I felt we missed Fielden's experience but the squad is good enough still without him and yesterday will be a good rest for Stu after the hard graft he's put in all year.

I think he was missed but luckily not too much that is cost us anything, hes a big piece in our jigsaw and when he doesnt play it means other players have to step up alot. Eamonn and Prescott did well but they both still have along way to go in their development IMO. Anyone got yesterdays stats.

We didnt miss him because we won but he may of helped make it a bit more comfortable. We cant play the same team every game so it was the right time to rest him imo.
