I took my camera to the game and took 4 pics of the ground (place quite empty) i was then approached by a snr steward (well thats what it said on his back). He then said to e that he had just seen me taking pictures and not to take any more!!

i said i was taking pics for memories for the last game etc etc, he then said its the gorunds and superleague rules that you cant take pictures. i informed him that i have taken pics at other gounds and never had anything said to me. His reply to this was well you cant take any here and if you doo then we will confiscate your camera!!

Seeing that my camera and lens is worth £600+ i kept it in the bag!! Just to add i did see a couple of saints fans with simular cameras and am sure they were also told not to use them and am sure being saints fans they are fully aware of the stadiums rules

maybe they are embarrassed ?

Taking a photo with a camera phone is a bit different from taking a photo with a professional camera.

Wasn't there a thread on here a while ago about one of the fans of a team St Helens Town FC played who was told a similar thing re not taking pictures. Can only be through sheer embarrassment at the state of the place

I know one lad that got told not to take photos on his phone its the stewards that are the problem.

Now a couple of years ago at Huddersfield one of the stewards asked me if i would like to go pitch side to take photos.
