| IMHO must go firstly to the groundstaff at the DW Stadium. After what I saw on the telly last Sunday when Latics played Spurs AND the continued wet weather during the week AND with them knowing that the pitch was going to be dug up after the game, what an excellent effort to get the pitch in the state it was for our game. OK, it wasn't the best but it was 1000% better than I expected or had a right to expect and a tribute to their professionalism. A massive vote of thanks to them from me.
Secondly, what an effort form our players to back up after that epic the previous week. I have been a bit slow to praise the team too much as we have seen plent of flashes in the pan previously, but this is now four out of four. Still too early to say we have arrived as title pretenders but after two or three more games like these we can defintely say we are back very close to where we belong.
Good to see that fringe players like Goulding and O'Carroll putting in good shifts, hopefully we'll see more from the likes of Farrell, Davies etc as the season progresses.
I really think we are on the verge of something special, if not this season, certainly next when these may be some scope to strenghten the squad further, coupled with more improvement from the youngsters.
Bring it on!

Will Prescott and O'Carroll put their hands up for England do you think?

Prescott already has.
They're both a good way off at the minute though.

| Eamonn wont do england, as I heard he feels you commit to one national team, Ireland was a truely fantastic experience, n but would galdly accept GB if he got his call up, he knows he eeds a few games under his belt. Great seeig 4 english props, hard to say who was superior out of him and prescot, but if pushed, Eamon would get my vote.
