| Gleeson hasn't been world class for about 3 years, hence nobody wanted him in the NRL and not getting a look in at the 4 nations. The deal was good for both sides.

No, his lack of a pair in defence is his problem, same as at Leeds. Great going forward in a team making chances, but crap in defence, especially front on defence.
He was soon found out in Australia, and to say his injury was the reason he came home is naive. If they thought he was worth keeping, they'd have kept him and got him fit.

If it was I'd suspect it was the previous regime.
Mathers blows very hot and cold and often comes up with brainfarts - like the one he did at Cas last week. The ones he did at Wigan tended to be difference in the final result, which didn't help him warm to the fans.

The two red cards spring to mind when i think of mathers time at Wigan, even though he had some decent games

Mathers is not a reliable fullback hes the weak link in your side and on tonights "anti social" performance Im glad he is no longer involved with Wigan.
