It's always disconcerting when a witness to an event comes forward with a bold statement, only for another witness to then appear with a completely different perspective. You never know which is more accurate, but at least this one balances the picture a little.
There are always winners and losers when sea-changes occur. For whatever reason, some old lags just can't (or won't) get on with the new bosses. In those cases, it's best for all if they move on.
