So no work for me, I love snow on days like this.

I'm revising for uni exams in jan... my only break is a gym session from about 1-2, and then training 7-8 if its a tuesday or a thursday... Well, I can't get to the gym, it's too far to walk and I'm not trying to drive in this. My coach has just text me, the school we train at is closed, so no training!!

Day off for me too! I live in Manchester, its not too bad here maybe 3-4 inches, but walking through it there are some deeper parts. I set off for work and walked to Salford station to get the train and got a phone call to say that the other key holders to open up are snowed in at home, so I've trudged all the way back home.

Was a bit annoyed they didn't phone earlier, but hey ho, I get a day in bed! Class.

Been in to work this morning and got sent home, so it's an afternoon of Test cricket

I remember noticing this when doing the site page for that year. 14 consecutive matches postponed, which is basically half a season. A full 76 days went by without a match and the situation best summed up by this guy skating on Central Park.

Oh and all bus services accross town have been suspended if your planning to venture out except 601 from Wigan (Train Station Only) to Ashton.

I started work last night at 22:00 in Birchwood, there was around 1cm of snow. By 01:00 this morning the whole place ground a halt in a 1ft of snow. I had 16 units and trailers stuck out side the gates and give all the staff the option of going home or staying (all went). All shunters (4) and units (35) are still stuck now. Any one expecting a delivery by DHL, you wont be getting it!!. I finally set off for home at 09:10 and got back into Eccleston, Chorley at 11:20.

And trains I believe.
