I'd like to think this may be the case, I'm quite hopeful it will be.

It may be that Riddell won't be seen on the field untill a few games in and we go with Mcilorum and Leuluai at hooker.

Riddell did all right at times last year but there were also times when he went through the motions. More involvement and a lot more guile is needed from the big fella.

I reckon he'll play in the friendlies, then it'll depend on form and injuries for the first game of the season. Granted if he gets fit he's likely to hold down a first team spot but if he's playing ok and still unfit but Deacon is off form he'll probably get a game.

Riddell wasn't fit last season, that was clear. Exciting times.

Very exciting news, mark will be a terrific player when he is more match fit, lets hope he's up to the yak in getting fit.
