Who do you think is the most over rated player to pull on the cherry and white jersey?

The most overated player to pull on a cherry and white jersey for me is Denis Moran, untill he got here of course, then we realised how shocking he could be.

If you rate somebody by how much it cost to get them, it has to be Lee Hansen.

Currently: Phil Bailey, people go on about his defensive capabilities but personally I don't see anything in his game to say he's anymore effective than Hansen.

Hmmm tricky one. Over rated as opposed to plain rubbish and we knew they were going to be such as Jordan James, that's some working out.

Currently unless they up their game somewhat Fielden or Glesson are over rated.

For me cos everyone I knew thought he was sliced bread....Barry John Mather apart from scoring a try in the club challenge I thought he was pants.

How about Quinnell, tonne of hype, did OK.

I agree with both your selected players. IIRC didnt we pay for Lee Hanson and give them Shaun Long? Then he went to Saints about 24 hours later (i may be off with that abit though)

As for Roby, he had the one good season but for me since the play the ball seems to have slowed down Roby has gone pants. He won Man of Steel for being a good scooter, pathetic. Ive said it for the last few seasons that Cunningham is the backbone behind that pack and there really going to strugle when he goes IMO!

I definatly agree with Flannery, you hardly ever notice the fella!

Well I disagree, Flannery at Saints does a lot of the work similar to Bailey at Wigan.

The problem with a lot of RL supporters is that they only see the flash Harrys who make a few runs or scoots but in effect contribute little to the TEAM.

Most over rated I've probably ever seen in a Wigan team - Jimmy Birts, Shem Tatupu and Peter (iron nan) Davies

Mickey Higham was almost there but I could never fault his enthusiasm and effort.
