Why are people having heart attacks over this? Has Longy ever professed to be an angel? (Mind you, he did try to be, at one point. Did you read about him going along to the 'God squad' meetings?) I think the book is very honest and that's what makes it a good read (plus there are some funny stories in there).

Well maybe people should think twice about their comments about Saints. If people can't take it, they shouldn't serve it up, especially when hypocrisy is involved, which clearly it is here (and not from Saints!).

But the point I was making still stands. People on here have thrown mud at Saints because Longy was a wild child. That is hypocritical even currently bearing in mind you have a man convicted of assault playing for you and a drug using player who is banned on your staff. I hardly think it was necessary to sling mud at my club in that way just because Longy told stories pretty much everyone knew about anyway!

My comment was not about his unfortunate illness it was about the way it was "hushed up" by the club, ....this was the incident.

Judder man if I remember correctly Wigan didn't hush it up. They kept it quiet due to Quentin's wishes, which is pretty honourable in my opinion.
