Throughout his time in office so far, he has proved he will do what he thinks is right for Wigan, regardless of fan opinion, so I dont think he would be all that bothered.

Which is why he is the owner and Im only a lowly fan

Thought it was funny when he said that the Salary Cap was a good thing as it levelled out the game.
But then said that referees allowed too much lying on which brought the big teams down to the lower teams levels.

So don't allow wealthly clubs to spend the money that they can generate, and don't allow the poorer clubs a level playing field on it.

I would be amazed if no-one else was involved. From what I have heard, one former non-playing employee profited massively from it (and that came from the top man at Saints now).

Rumours were that one or two people from Sky got a wiff of it too.

I was really surprised at the odds though. I expected them to be getting thousands rather than £900.

Long and Gleeson only "gambled" on a Bulls win by 9 points or more, which was pretty much guaranteed.

Had they gone for a +40 win they would have won insane amounts, which tallies with the amounts I have heard being talked about for other people.
