There were plenty of high shots from both teams tonight if you want to blame anyone then blame Ian Smith for not taking positive action early on in the game as it began to creep in. By not doing so he gave the players carte blanche to go as high and as often as they liked.
Watch the game again, without the wigan specs on and you see that although McGoldrick and Higgins were pinged a few times (and yes shold have gone to the bin), there were players in cherry and white who were at it too, not including two blatant flops that should have resulted in 10 minute spells in the sidelines for Wigan players.
