Regarding league position yes it won't change anything but both sides will want to take a winning run into the play offs.

Big game for Wigan I reckon.

If we beat Hudds we'll have beaten all our seven play off rivals this season. More significantly perhaps would be the fact only St Helens from the top 8 would have won the last match against us (and we came close to winning that one). Win this and we'll be the play off side going in with the best form. Just a shame our recent form hasn't rewarded with a top 4 spot. But I'd quite fancy going to a Week 1 loser and winning should we get that far because experience of winning play off eliminators will count hugely in our favour - whether we play Saints, Hull KR or Hudds.

Huddersfield probably need a game like this. I know they won last week but most National League sides would beat Celtic at the moment.

I'd fancy us against anyone in the 8 at the mo, but I really want to avoid Bradford in week 1. Them getting in the 8 after being all but out will lift them so much (similar to us in 2007)
