Anybody going down for the weekend was meant to say that you would be at Wembley still marvelling at the speed and skill of the England v France Wheelchair RL match at Uxbridge University on the Friday night.
i'll be at wembley at the final like i have done for the last 14 years. Representing wigan but with a claret and gold scarf on. Enjoying the game, i'd say as a nuetral but that would be lieing.
I'll be at my sisters wedding in Wigan (she's a Wigan fan
some of you might think at least there's some sanity in the family )
I'll miss the game, i thought i'd be watching it but the wedding kicks off at more or less the same time
So guys what you up to ?'"
I'm a Wigan fan who lives in Warrington and for the semi was in Scotland at the wedding of a Warrington lad, there was a group of us slunk away when all the photo's were being taken to watch the match in the bar of the hotel - me and my better half and a load of Wire fans on an afternoon like that!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for the 29th I'll watch it on the box and hope for a good game, I suppose of the two I would prefer Warrington to win but then I think of the Warrington Guardian the week after and all my Warrington pals and wonder how I would ever put up with it all
