Saints injury problems piling up now, roby out with broken hand, KFC surely to get banned for smashing that wakey players face up, long out, cayless out, etc etc.

Looking forward to 'the big one' aswell, should be a crackin game, although i think we will struggle.

By the sounds of things we need to be allot better than today’s performance if were going to compete against Leeds, I feel confident though with the home advantage and the hype surrounding this match we can put together a strong performance.

didnt think we'd do it at the end...but top 3 or 4 should be on if we can continue to win....the next 4 weeks now are massive for the rest of the season. If we can get something out the next 4 games this time next month we could be at wembley and 4th in the league if Hull KRs slip continues, chasing Huddersfield for 3rd....and dont forget, we play them last game of the season....if we can get within 2 points of them before the last day, I could see us sneaking 3rd yet....and what a stupid scenario that would be after the season we've had.

Be hard for IL not to give him a new contract if we win the next 2 I would have thought, but for me it shouldn't be made on the next 2 games, he needs to lok back too.

I hope not.....the only thing i would offer nobby would be the door, notwithstanding the last results, other than that the maximum he would get would be a 6 month extension to take him to next april /may......if he got that and was told any renewal would be dependent upon results there would be no pathetic start next season, or 'the season aint won in february' comments would there

Its a very likely scenario. Wouldn't be very confident though. Hudds I'd expect as favourites. (maybe we could get them back for 98 )?

As things as they are I wouldnt want to tempt fait...but if i was gambling on a final 2, I would say wigan V hudds looking at current form and how the teams are playing.....Saints look massively on the decline and have looked woeful for the last few weeks now....so much so i think we've got a far better chance of winning there in two weeks than winning the big one at home tbh and I would have never said that. In addition even with all our injuries and players out, I think we should have too much for warrington, who are now back to their usual performance level after a freak 5-6 weeks that made them all dizzy at another 'Year of the Wolfs'!!!!





For me in terms of saints I really think we're starting to see the end of st helens dominance. since the offshore image rights payment loophole has been closed the salary cap is biting stains suddenly and their having to reduce their wage bill....losing talau last season with no replacement, now long and gilmour is going, wellens is spent, (if he was ever there in the first place) and KFC must be in his last few games. Add to that they dont seem to be making murmous to bring players in next season which would make you think they are cutting their wage bill for next season and clearing out like we did approx 6 years ago to get under the cap. Their 'great kids' is something of a joke as well IMO....theres only Eastmond and Moore with any real talent and the rest are just average acadamy lads. Next year as their old guard diminishes I can see stains in 4-5 years of transition much the same as we have been through, and I really dont think they'll be anything more than an averageish top 4-6 team for the next few years and be back at their natural level of looking up at us
