| I work in the bars at the stadium. The "WIGAN" on the East stand looks poor, the W and the A aren't symmetrical, and in the South Stand there are seats missing from the DW logo. I'd expect them to put them in before the Leeds match obviously.
The DW logos outside the stadium look poor too if you look carefully.
Indoors they havent changed anything, as its not due to be finished until the 1st August.

The revolving DW sign is even worse as you approach the stadium.'"
I saw it on SSN and it looked embarrassing on there!
For a PL and SL stadia, the DW looks aesthetically poor.

| Quote: Steinlager "you would hope so, but from what I've been told Whelan has decided not too. The reason is cost - at £4 a seat.
£100,000 for the whole stadium - peanuts for a PL team.'"

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

| If ALL we have to moan and worry a few letters in the Stadium that you can't see when people are in their seats, then I'll be delighted.
Who cares?
Who's bothered what the stands are called?
Does it really matter?
This message board gets more like a primary school playground by the day.
It's Whelans Stadium. He puts the money in to call it what he likes, and quite rightly.
I don't have to like the man to sit in his Stadium, but I'd be bigger fool to let it stop me going or move my seat to the Boston stand although Billy is one of my all time heroes.

42648.jpg We can hold our heads up high around town. Not for us the ignomony of having once supported United, Liverpool or Everton and then shamelessly casting our previous loyalties aside for a 2 bit fly-be-night outfit with no history or standing in the town. Not for us having to swear blind that we never supported another club, not for us having to swear blind that we watched our club pre-JJB.
We are Wigan Rugby League. Established 1872. The town's true club. Ancient and Loyal.

| I've heard the Boston Stand will be having the black outline done over the next fortnight, the reason for the imbalance in the lettering is due to the shadow effect the black is to create.
The actual DW letting is very good and it is only let down aesthetically by the fact it isn't ed within either stand. ATEOD though if Wigan continue to play like that in the DW stadium then I'll be a happy bunny, maybe it's the start of a new era...
