A couple of year ago Liverpool talked about setting up a section in the kop for folk who want to get singing etc started. I think they were going to call it the 'powerhouse'. Bit cheesy I know. Often thought that's what we need at the JJB though, in the East stand. Even if it's just 100-200 seats, to concentrate the 'singers'. The club would need to lead this but can't see it ever happening. You can't just turf out a whole section of season ticket holders just because they don't want to sing. Need to do something though; it's way too sporadic at the moment (partly due to a poor season i guess). I also think the drum is overused and can sometimes dampen the atmosphere building up, e.g. at the end when the players walk over to an ovation (sometimes), rather than allowing the applause to build up and maybe an impromptu chant, it's always the same... bang, bang, bang bang bang, bang bang bang bang, Wigan. Getting a bit predictable to me. Sorry if thats a bit whingy for a first post, i'm usually more positive!
