I can’t see them both having a future at Saints with Pryce being 27 and Wellens 29. Maybe Wheeler could replace Gidley when he leaves but you’d think Soliola has the other spot nailed on?'"
Saints have three players eyeing the two creative slots - Wheeler, Eastmond and Lomax (four - if you included Matty Smith). At the start of the season the smart money was on Eastmond. Neither Wheeler nor Lomax were expected to make much of a breakthrough this year, but both appear to have jumped a mile forward of their development schedule whilst Eastmond's season - until recently - has been dogged by injuries.
More than likely the selection headache has resolved itself. Eastmond has the scrum half spot nailed down. Thus far Wheeler has shown so well he can expect the stand off role (with Pryce moving to loose forward) or centre. Since his first major showing against Wakey at FB Lomax has been nothing short of a revelation. Right now he's the go-to guy if either Wheeler or Eastmond hit problems. Although Potter appears to view him as Wellens' natural replacement.

Another?
As for Offiah, he is causing more than the odd wave of consternation in the sport by the way he chooses to hawk his impressive and growing list of clients about to any who will listen - including RU. Which is more than a bit unsettling.
