I've been stuck at work all day and only picked up bits of the issue and have scanned this thread, my thoughts are:
1 - if the second test is positive, he should be sacked. End of discussion, i cannot believe people are seriously saying that he should be retained. He should be dismissed for gross misconduct immediately if the second test was to be positive.
2 - IL should now bring in a drug tester and do the entire squad. Someone knew what he was doing, if there are any others they need weeding out and dealing with appropiately.
3 - What kind of lack of disclipline is in place at the club to allow this to happen.
Gareth Hock has brought shame on what was once a proud club, sacking him will regain some, not sacking him will forevermore sink our name into the dirt.

Couple of quotes jump out at me in that:

From which I read Hock isn't the only one doing this, and drug use is known across the sport.

Which all but confirms Hock is taking drugs. No chance of a negative B test then.

'" unfortunately I don't think that comes as a shock to anyone, and is why more vigorous testing is needed imo to make it so players know that if they do take drugs they will be caught.

Some fair points from Kev in that article...but I do have to say it seems almost time for the inevitable "He was on drugs and needs rehab/help" to rear its ugly head again when referring to a celebrity who [imay [/ihave been caught doing recreational drugs.
They ALL turn into Amy Winehouse when they have been caught and turn it into a "problem" they need help with. Gets SOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring. They only class it as a problem when they get caught out and turn occasional (and wrong) occasional use of coke into a nightly fix of crystal meth! It's played upon way too much IMO  |

I can understand where Kev is coming from but his comments are expected from family.
IMO, Hock needs to be made an example of and the issue must be dealt with harshly.
To be honest, Hock could do with hanging round Kev Brown a bit more. Regardless of his on the field critics, he's a sound and level headed lad.

The club should now test every player internally.
Ther have been rumours on this board for the past 2 years about hock and other players using coke and other recreational drugs.
The club chose to ignor this, now they should act and sack any player found to be guilty
