He's a good player but he's unfortunate to excel in a position where there is already a very high level of competition within the club.

However, I'd like to see him be given an opportunity soon.

I admire Flanagan, he has all the attacking skills and is as hard as nails and puts some massive hits in when playing for the reserves.

IMO he has the problem a lot of players have had in ths past in that he is, at present, not big enough for a SL pack and not fast enough for a back.

I'm not sure that you can do much about lack of pace but I think you can bulk up a bit and I think that is what he needs to do before he can break into the team

Does anybody actually think Flanagan is any good?

Ive never seen him play but heard very mixed reports on here about his performances. Would of expected him to have had a chance by now?
