Apart from bad language, what are they charging him with, standing up at the play of the ball?

Most ridiculous penalty ever.

i am the only one who thinks that before the season is out, he'll be missing a few games for us his "leading with the forearm" technique ??

i know hes been warned in the past, and i noticed last week, that hes started doing it again. its that strange "plant one foot with a huge great stamp, then lunge with the elbow" motion.

Fielden has been called up on two accounts, for a raised knee whilst in possession of the ball – (Grade C) and the use of foul and abusive language – (Grade B).

On a serious note Friday apart i think his form has been ok of late and he will be a koss to the side if banned.

In the amateur leagues thats a 7 game ban atleast

Not good for young kids seeing fielden swearing on tv like that!

They should give him a big ban

No he shouldn't, he just stood his ground Carvell moved forward into Fielden. The penalty was the wrong way, that's why both he and Noble were so upset, and Warrington scored from the penalty.

I have no objection to him being charged for bad language but the penalty was wrong. He was in front of Carvell and never laid a hand on him or the ball.

We'll miss him if he gets banned. Seriously. He always gives 100% and stays on the pitch for longer than our other props.
He has a big fee and wages hanging around his neck but that's not his fault.

i dont agree.
fielden got up and stood on the correct mark as first marker.......the wire player then tried to move a yard forward to play the ball making it look like fielden was interfering.
penalty to wigan imo for wire player moving off the mark.

but every tackle it seems players move 2 yard forward before playing the ball.
if we wanted to be pedantic we would be seeing penalties at every play the ball.

Fielden wasn;t even stood up, he was still on one knee, refusing to move backwards away from the tackled player with his hands in the air.

If he wasn;t trying to interfere, why would he have his hands in the air, claiming he wasn;t interfering, and why was he on one knee. I agree that the penalty could have gone the other way, as Carvell made a meal of it, however I think Fielden made it easy for the penalty to go against him. Had he stepped back, he would have had a case for appealing for a penalty. As he didn;t the penalty was always going to go against him. He needs to clear the ruck, and he didn;t.
