Although I think Tickle is a decent player would anyone seriously have him in the team instead of Hansen, Hock, O'Loughlin or J Tomkins?
As for Dobson IMO he came in and did a solid job after Moran, kept it simple & kicked the goals which was what we needed at the time. I wouldn't have him back at Wigan as i think we could get a better 7.

Yes he was, but he kept hold of the ball and got up to play the ball. How many players get tackled during their career?
