An injury to Phelps and a suspension for McIlorum may well have saved Nobles job at Wigan because without those he wouldn't have give debuts to Ainscough and Tomkins. Without those 2 young lads we wouldn't have won the last 2 games. They've not only brough talent into our side but also great attitudes and thats spread to the rest of the side.
A good coach is a lucky coach sometimes and Nobles had a big slice this season.
