| I think we all know there are some players in that team that aren't "Wigan quality", but with the squad we have we should be a good side. So far the performances haven't warranted that title, it would be more appropiate to title Wigan as an 'average' SL side.
I think fan's are getting a little annoyed and aggravated at the same old excuses being banded around, "Things haven't come off for us" or "we're really trying" which by all means may be true, but excuses such as those are IMO un-acceptable. There is a fine line between 'trying' and 'dedication', the players seem to be doing the former, and need to be the latter.
I've no doubt whatsoever we need a new prop and IMO a 6 that is decent in defense, TS was woeful against Cas in defence, although in attack he may of been good (I don't know how he was in attack as Boots N All only showed his defensive weaknesses and I weren't at the game).
I support Noble but the way we are playing and the seemingly 'favourites' he has within the team just aren't earning thier wage, bar Lockers and a few others. Sam Tomkins will be a superb player for us but he cannot and will not work miracles, he needs players running lines for him, backing him up without that he might just looks average at best. I'm not knocking the lad before anyone starts, as I feel he is a very promising talent but without the correct support play he is very limited to what he can do.
Hopefully get a win at Quins and really kick on from there, if we lose changes NEED to be made.

signings wise, use of cap wise IL is no better than Mo for mine'"
How do you know the players that have been signed were`nt suggested by Noble

In some peoples eyes i am not sure he is responsible for anything at the club. The man is like Teflon in some peoples eyes and they chose to blame everyone at the club apart from BN, others are of course at fault but the major problem is clearly Noble in my opinion.

| In short of course he is responsible.
Noble selects the team and picks the players, badly, and I dont believe for one moment that he has no say in the players that we sign. In particular Phelps and Smith have been awful signings. He chooses the tactics, again which are wrong with the team that we have. These tactics have resulted in the most boring and predictable rugby I have ever seen. He trains the players and would also have a say in their conditioning. We have Riddell and Smith who are 2 players that are no where near match fit but still play each week, what happened to earning your place in the reserves. Smith was no where near fit last year and should have been brought back for pre-season training long before the others. We were awful for 80% of last season but some fans are clouded by 2 decent games in the play offs. The major problem though is that Noble has lost the dressing room. It is obvious that the players dont respect him and dont want to play for him. He has to go for the club to move forward.

23997_1287161421.jpg
Great game of rugby league. Fantastic atmosphere, Wigan were breathtaking and dominant in all areas for the first 25 minutes, coupled with us making alot of dumb mistakes, then fortunately they brought McIlorum on which helped us back into the game. I thought some of the tries we scored to get us within two we're out of this world stuff. Towards the end we had to force it a little and we had a few things go wrong, i.e Monas kick on the first for King and Solomona going off who was causing havoc. Wigan were clinical in their eventual execution of us. Proud of Wire today and gave us a little glimpse to the future. Silverwood was awful as per, but I expect no less. Tomkins is a world class player and by far the best english player in SL. Wigan are a champion side and would be a worthy winner of taking our title as challenge cup. Good luck over the next month and a bit.
:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_23997.jpg |
