He looks the sort that adds enough via his own performance but adds far more via his influence. He is constantly talking and getting in to the battle and you can already see that the squad love him.

Really not sure how Bevan got it given the work from the forwards

It’s a good thing in many ways but I thought it was Singletons least effective performance tonight just based on what he physically brought (carries, metres, tackles etc) but he lead from the front, wound up the likes of Graham and gave space to other guys. I thought Bullock and especially Partington were fabulous. I’d have gone between Partington or Greenwood for MOM.

The whole Lees/Singleton/Amor for a combined team debate looked like it had forgot a contender tonight with how Partington played.

Partington was superb tonight

Outstanding. He has a great engine and his attitude is something that can’t be coached. I felt he was the best prop on the field tonight (well ‘middle’ we’ll have to say) and we can be pretty pleased with his development to date.

So what you say is fact ? , i guess you have inside knowledge or are Singleton himself ? . Now to be honest that may be the case but it is not the wide spread story that came out of Headingley .
