Records say nearly 18k for saints against south's
21k 19k and 19k for Bradford.
Fair play to Leeds they took 3 games to elland road but from their first which was 33k their last was 27k so dropped 6k.
Their last 3 achieved 21/20/19k

So as I said on a previous thread 4/5 weeks ago when posters were getting on the negative side (once again without relating things to facts) that any Thing 19k plus would be very positive.
A lot of people are obsessed with the term "sell out".
If we had 15k it would be a sell out at Wolf's, butndisappointing at Wigan?
If we sell 24k but play in a 50k stadium people say it's disappointing.

Whilst I do think our average last year was a bit disappointing it still beat most of the attendances we had in 2000-2004 When we had Farrell/Robinson/lam/renouf/Newton/Dallas etc. etc.
I think getting back to 13k short term should be the aim - 14 -16k should be our mid to long term goal.
But the game itself needed to change to help with this, the first signs are there with the takoever and some of the rule changes etc. but it will take time.

Agree with this. Can see this happening against Catalans too at the Nou Camp. We could have a fantastic 40k crowd and many would be slagging us off for 50k empty seats. Yet a sell out of 40k in a smaller stadium would be hailed a massive success!

It’s always the same with the England games also.

It’s funny to think we took far more stick for our 11,200 crowd last week then Salford did for getting just over 3,000 or Wire for getting 10,500.

East stand sold out
South stand sold out
North almost there probably a 1000 left
West stand almost sold out same as North about a 1000

If we’ve had all 24,000 ish tickets on sale then there’s at least 22,000 gone by the looks of the ticket map. The East is sold, the South had 2 tickets last time I looked, there was about 150 tickets left in the South end of the West and about 400 in the North end and there were at most a 1,000 left in the North itself.

Looking forward to a good day round town tomorrow pre match and then a good atmosphere down at the game.

Pretty sure they will be blocking out sections but good sales nonetheless.

Although the South Stand is 'sold out' it won't be full as it is unreserved seating.

That was a minor game in the World Club 'series', not the World Club Challenge. The direct comparison would be with the Rabbitohs game in 2015, which sold out well in advance.

Why did they say "sold out when there was empty seats at the very ends of the stand
