Works both ways.....
BroncoQuins never finished in a bottom/relegation place, so we will never know if the X-FILE gang were correct in their assumption that we would never be relegeted, but we are still here, we have a licence for 3 years and we are solvent (just) with a great youth system (in its infancy) producing real talent. We carry less overseas baggage than you, sit above you in the table (for now) and our reserves gave you the only game you've had this year to date (with 7 cockneys in our team).
I like wigan, love your ground and believe IL will turn out to be the man who gets you back to the top of the sport in the UK, but I will always defend the club I support from anti-expansionist nutters like some who have posted on this thread.'"

I didn't know it was your insult.
Not arguing....just pointing out that Friday games are impossible for London fans to attend, we are trying to get an away trip thing going and that we cover 9,500 miles + a year following our team.
At home, the gates are unacceptable and I have said as much many times to the club and on here,,,,,,,but to slag us off for not taking time of work and either spending money on a hotel or getting home at essentially 4.30am, just to attend a Wigan game ona Friday night is just crass and childish ([size=59and another example of anti-expansionist drivel posted by some Widnes fans mascquerading as wigan fans to watch superleague)[/size |

I meant too say out insults

He's already said more than once that their home support is poor. RL has been around the capital for a while, but not at the same place, so any attempt to increase local interest will only really work once they find a ground to stick with. You need to remember that down here RL is almost unheard of. There is nothing like a hundred years of history, no heroes to follow in the footsteps, no attraction to new speccies to get them away from wendyball and yawnion. The London away support will always be poor, but I for one hope they can slowly increase their fan base, and be a success. |

We've been playing at our current location for 3 seasons. What do you expect? You have had x number of years in your current guise at locations not dissimilar. We have been shunted all over the place and finally found a realistic solution that we can call home. People bring it up all the time, RL has been in London 30 years and gone nowhere etc, but the fact is we have had no consistency whatsoever. Why have you had the chance of 100+ years to develop and we cannot? Evans transformed Harlequins RU from what we effectively are today into a dominate force in world Rugby Union. Nothing suggests that he cannot do the same for us. |
