Just been scanning through the U19 squad Bios on the club's website (following the recent team announcement)...I see that Little and Wicks have held their places in the 1st team. Well done to them.
Bio's on the site are slightly confusing (as they don't contain any position details etc)....can anyone share the names of our youngsters who actually have some beef to them? Who can play and drive us up the middle of the park?!

| Cheers mate.....so we have some prospects. For as long as I can remember, since Tookey and Solomono left, we have had zero go forward.
Kaufusi is an exception when on form, but it is a worrying trend for the last goodness knows how many years that we are incapable of bullying teams in SL.
Hopefully those three youngsters can stick around and make the step up!

| Just seen the replies sorry! Beat featherstone yesterday.
All played well.
Problem is there isn't a 20's league.
So players will possibly be duel registered? Or released.
As you know the big boys take longer to mature so it will be interesting to see what
The club do with them.
The 19's haven't been out muscled up front all season.
Best thing to do is have a look yourselves at their next home game.

| Beat Cas 32_12 in a totally dominant display.
Londond forwards won the arm wrestle up front early on with
Cas finding it difficult to contain the power and pace of the pack.
Cox, mooney and Wallace were making easy yards through the middle.
With George Taylor filling in at hooker giving the halfs quick service.
Which allowed the backs room to impress again.
Keyes and Woodburn-hall enjoyed the space the forward platform gave
To pull the strings in a 7 try scoring spree.
Wicks and Little were causing trouble on there flank with some great handling resulting in several line breaks.
I've only mentioned a few players by name, but from 1-17 they were impressive.
Cas never gave up and scored with a slick back line move almost on the final whistle.
Played in 32* at a fantastic pace it was a real testimont to the work both teams do on the training field. Fitness levels were amazing.
When Several Castleford supporters tell you "that was a great performance by London" you know it must have been.
Credit To Jame'O and his coaching staff the superior fitness levels showed
And the boys played as a team rather than individuals.
The result was great but the performance made the 500 mile round trip worth it!

| Hull showed yesterday they are developing some real strong youth, I believe we are, perhaps we need to bring in a few young talented players from established clubs to help develop them?
Interesting how one NRL Club is signing two 18 year old players from Leeds.

| The reason I started this topic was because this is going to be our team in the next 12-24 months. I feel we could actually benefit from dropping to the Championship for a year or two then pushing to regain an SL place with promotion with a team consisting of 90% Londoners.
We've never really sat down and analysed things thoroughly as a club over our history. We've managed to maintain a SL presence often when we shouldn't have. It maybe that a few years at a lower level to get some solid foundations in place could help.
Look at Quins RU - for a number of seasons they we a bottom end team (even with a sell out crowd) that bumbled along with an average squad (yes, they had one or two internationals also) but weren't ever pushing for the title. They ultimately had a bad season, got relegated and were forced to shed the majority of their "established players". They sat down, promoted the youth and worked their way up again (luckily for them in the first season) - but now boast a first team littered with academy raised players.
With the U16's and U19's at the Broncos being at a high level in their respective leagues, this could be our future pathway too.
I'd accept a few years of no SL for the greater good of us coming back with foundations that will see us prosper in SL in the future.
Even if DH leaves and takes the money with him, there is still a large enough desire in the south east and London for this team to remain active. It's being done by half the Championship sides now - I doubt many of them have millionaire investment.
The future (in the long run) is bright people.
