| Best player we have had for a few years.... no idea how we will perform in attack without him. Sheffield will be smiling.
I often wondered why he kept playing - he must have walked off after every match and had to look at his payslip to tell himself it was worth it. There is only so much money can buy and I guess he finally gave up. Many would have sussed out ages ago that this wasn't the best thing he could do with his time. How the Aussies can come over here after playing in front of well supported clubs and play in front of 1500 people with players voices echoing around stadiums must be difficult. It can't help. No idea what the solution is but we certainly don't seem to be moving towards one this season - no light at the end of the tunnel I am sorry to say. Perhaps we should just say that we gave it a go and it didn't work.... leave it at that. The French experiment has worked (although at a large financial cost) so its not just the M62.
Good Luck CG - it was a privilege watching you play

So a dressing room putsch against CG because he showed too many of them up.

| Think he was a bit harsh on some of them, Perry.
Maybe too much stick, not enough carrot...

| If he'd read out the email I sent them after the Wigan game there could have been a mass exodus..

| Well, at least he's saying the right things so we should be grateful for that I guess.

He's being professional about it which is what you would expect. But funny how that would suddenly transpire on Monday

| It is the mid-season review. He reviewed and decided to go, simples. Shame we could not say goodbye.

| To be honest I'm just grateful he is being professional about it. Let's face it he could have said a lot worse. And I suspect most of us would have agreed with some of it too.

The only cost has been to the Catalans owenership and management - exactly the same as London's history (though many other fans continue to erroneously believe that the RFL has poured 'millions' into London ). Cats had the big advantage over London of being in an established RL area - albeit one that had suffered from lack of investment for years. In that sense, Cats are not really an 'expansion club' at all.
