You don't need to be a fan owned club to talk to your fans.

| NB if you’re accusing me of negativity then that negativity is based on seasons of it!
And the solution to any problem from our owner is to up sticks and try elsewhere?
Not knocking PL, for many years I’ve said to people that LB and AFCW could have thought about a ground share as we were both ‘ homeless’. Would be a bit of an irony if we move to Wimbledon’s home.

| Rfe, its yr choice to take things personally. Some folk see things with the glass half full others always half empty, i prefer the former.
It is however frustrating reading posts on here that have a go at the club owner, for not doing anything, swiftly followed by having a dig at him when there is a suggestion of doing something.
As for the club talking to fans, the difference with wimbledon and us is the wimbledon fans are the owners so they had to be consulted, before any sharing could happen
As for us, it was a rumour and discussion, a possibility, nothing had been decided or agreed so whats point in club talking about rumours that may or may not happen.
They have been bitten in the past remember, talk about signings before they had been completed and then falling through.
So keeping quite until there is actual confirmed news is not that daft.

| Some people have been around the club for many years. And what is more, they use their own money to follow it.

Correct from the first game as a teenager, sent from the Radio Station I worked for to cover the game against Wigan! born in St Helens, followed Saints as a kid, but that day at Fulham I changed my alliances, and followed the team through every move and name changes, many seasons every home and away game, and Academy matches away when on a Saturday.
No regrets, I still Believe there is so much potential, I thought we had broken through with the World Challenge Matches at The Stoop, sponsored the match ball for one of the games, and sponsored so many players! over the years.
Yes we have had our faults as a Club at times, the way it is run, but I put blame on The RFL and now Super League who have such a small minded attitude, who felt it was a better investment to buy a big hole in the ground, than invest in The Capital City of LONDON!
Happy Christmas to all of the Fans that feel the club means so much to them!

| Big fan of this move new plough lane looks like great stadium.
Not a lot wrong with trailfinders but it was a pig of place to get to.
And did feel like a training facility.
But for all it's faults it did stabilize the club and we produced some of her best rugby in years there.
The 2018 promotion team and season and our year in superleague were great fun.

I doff my cap to you jaybs for your unstinting love of the club. You are a true fan & have earned the right to have a view of how the club is run as have any of the Old Guard that remain. Of course, Northernbloke doesn't agree you have any right at all but just pump your money into the club then bugger off.
The 1st 4 years I tried to fit in home & away for both the footy & rugby teams, not always possible with games usually only Saturday or Sunday but made Friday nights in the pub fun trying to work out how to fit it all in or who had to remain sober. Sadly after that work & other commitments have restricted me to home games & anything dans la belle France.
Hughes for sure has made mistakes we all do. Rumours that he ignored this bit of advice or that bit of advice is pure conjecture unless there is evidence to the contrary. However, we are all hostage to fortune & who knows where we would be if:
a) Virgin hadn't have pulled out.
b) Brisbane/Marantas hadn't pulled out.
c) Lenegan had stayed if Wigan were not for sale.
d) Bloodgate hadn't happened & Jillings & Evans had remained in control of Harlequins.
Answers on a postcard to..........
Anyway let's hope we can all get back to watching our team(s) in the flesh soon. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
PS New Year's Resolution...Not to get irritated by Northernbloke's posts on referees or fans rights.

As an Hammer since the age of 6, though still a big supporter since the move to the athletics Olympic stadium, I've visited away just a few times! Ran Martin Peter's Fan Club from the age of 14, great my brother was 11 years older and used to drive me & a mate to games. Fan clubs were then basic, but at first my newsletters were printed by a local printer! Martin was such a genuine guy, so supportive, it became the largest fan club in Europe.
How did a St Helens boy turn out this way? lol but what a journey it's been with both West Ham & London Broncos, still believe we can do it! hopefully at Wimbledon! "

The point is we all have our opinions, and quite often our opinions differ, as do our views of the rules.
But! The one thing this forum shows is there are still folk that have a passion for the club, maybe not as many as there should or could be but hey thats life.
Lets all keep being passionate about the club and game, even if it means disagreeing about it.
Hope we can just get to watch some Rugby League next year.

Is this a New Year's resolution, from the bloke who normally tries to shut down discussion ?

| Jason Loubster has confirmed that the club will be moving away from Ealing Trailfinders for the 2021 season . The club has been in negociation with two other parties (one of which is Wimbledon FC) and will not comment further until they have approval from the other party.
The club will also be moving to a new Training facility
The reason given is that Super League has stated that the ground is unsuitable for Super League and they are unable to develop commercial activities.
No season tickets will be on sale until the move is confirmed thought to be in mid to late January

| An end of year message to our fans from the CEO
I trust that you have all managed to have the best Christmas possible and some of you will have been able to spend some time with family and friends and will hopefully now be getting ready to join me in welcoming in a new year that can only get better for us all.
2020 has been, without doubt, the most difficult I have had to face at the club as I approach 10 years at the London Broncos. There have been many up’s and down’s throughout my time with the club but to have so many issues to deal with over 9 months has been like nothing else in my tenure and I have enjoyed a couple of days with family to reflect on what has been a very strange year at the club and for all of society.
We should probably take time to remember that some of our supporters have had major changes to their circumstances, either through their employment or in some cases health and the thoughts of all of us at the club are with these people. The Broncos family looks after their own and to hear of fans struggling makes for difficult reading.
Thanks to our owner, David Hughes, the club continues to be in a strong position moving into 2021 and I have spent the last fortnight, since discovering the outcome of the Super League bid, speaking to clubs, players and agents with the view of putting together a squad capable of challenging for promotion next season. Without confirmation of our league standing, start date and knowing when we can begin pre-season, it has been hard to know exactly which targets to go for and when. We are however now in full swing adding to our squad and announcements will continue to come as we step into the New Year.
There has been speculation about where we will be playing our Home fixtures in 2021 and I would like to respond to that in the only way I can at this stage. Since Spring, myself and our Commercial Manager, have visited a number of Stadiums and facilities as well as entering negotiations with 2 of them. The reason for this is predominantly down to Super League making it clear that Ealing, in its current guise, would not be accepted as a venue for us to play games at should we be promoted back to Rugby League’s top flight. As a club we knew that with an ambitious owner and coaching team, not to mention our fans, we simply had to find the type of venue that would not only be accepted by Super League but also give us facilities that allowed our ambitious corporate and commercial plans to develop.
As with all business deals, speculation and rumour do not help negotiating stances, and with the club speaking to other parties we were not in a position to comment on potential moves. At this moment I am still not prepared to say anything other than confirm that we have got to a stage with AFC Wimbledon which has meant that they will consult their fans and take a vote as per their own statement released recently. Out of respect for their club and supporters any comment from us will come after that vote is concluded. What I can say is that this was not a rushed decision based on the Super League bid, it is part of plans for the club to be Super League ready in 2021 should we manage to gain promotion via our on-field performances.
In addition to the move we will also move to a new training facility and news on this will be given as soon as all of this is confirmed.
I’m aware that our supporters are keen to get information about season tickets and I can assure them that we would very much like to get them on sale too however until the Stadium is confirmed, and our fixtures are also made clear, we have had to hold back on this. I expect it to be mid to late January when we can put these on sale.
2021 will be a difficult year for many and we expect to face many challenges as a club. Until we are presented with them it is difficult to make conclusive and detailed statements however the Broncos are determined to ensure that the year is successful both on and off the field and our wonderful fans are there to share the journey with us. We cannot dictate the rules regarding attendance but we will be fighting for you to be back in the stands as soon as possible.
Recently we have announced several new corporate partnerships and I’ve been really impressed by the work going on within our commercial team given the circumstances many businesses find themselves in at the moment. A strong business network around the club will give us a platform to build from in the future and we are heading in the right direction in this sense. The new Broncos Business club is sure to be popular and I’d like to thank all of the sponsors and partners that have stepped forward in recent months to back the Broncos for next year.
I’d like to end by thanking all of the players who have left the club in 2020 for their time and dedication to the London Broncos, in particular two of them, Kieran Dixon who will always have a place in the heart of many Broncos fans and Rob Butler who I have seen progress through our system and sincerely hope he kicks on to be a success with his new club Warrington.
Enjoy the last few hours of 2020 and from David, myself and the staff of the London Broncos we wish you a very Happy New Year.

| So if we ground share with AFCW do we go back to our old problem ( assuming they have a grass pitch) of potentially playing on the road games if the football club want to reseed the pitch in their closed season? I know pitch technology will have improved a lot since we were at GP but......
For me one of the best things about TFSC was the artificial playing surface, and the fact it wouldn't get damaged through us playing on it, Ealing RU, our Academy side, rain , snow etc....
I'm not having a pop but for a few years now this sort of thing hasn't been something we've had to consider - well not since the leaky pipes under the pitch at the Stoop and our enforced trips to Wycombe and was it Esher for an Easter evening game?
