Will Leigh be there? I'm hearing the rumours that were talked about a few weeks back are about to be realised. If what I'm hearing is correct Leigh won't be in the top 4, nor will 6 of there players be playing rugby for a while.

Really do hope those rumours don't come to fruition, it is a bit of a double edged thing tho if the allegations turn put to be true the RFL have to be seen to act and be hard to show re rest of the sporting world it deals with it properly. On the other side they are probably the team most capable of proving the 8s system is a good thing taking them out of the running would send gutters into a frenzy of excitement

Well I think we have already seen this season how the RFL deal with it ie: Fev.

This is a good learning stem for you,as come next season when your firing on all cylinders,they'll come hunting you.

Me too, hope its all talk, however if not, I hope any penalties are proportionate, two guys taking banned substances, should it really cost the club itself, the rest of the team and the fans everything they've been striving for?

Pete I am with you on that if it's a couple of guys that have been stupid then deal with them, issue is if it is more entrenched than that then its a different ball game

I believe that the 888 System is flawed, regardless of if Leigh, Bradford, Sheffield and London replace Salford, HKR, Wakefield and Widnes. I believe it's flawed because even with 1 million quid more in central funding, on its own it's not enough to turn a championship club into a SL club.
For the record, I still believe that nobody will be promoted this year and that's taking into account how crap Wakefield have been and how dominant Leigh/Bradford are.
