| I didn't notice the joining fee, but here in the small print it says you do have to cough up one months fee on top of the monthly price.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO PAY UPON SIGNING UP TO A BRONCOS MEMBERSHIP AND WHAT IS THE PROCESS?
- The first step to sign up is to complete an application form. You can visit The Hive where a member of our commercial team will be on hand to give you a guided tour of the stadium and take you through the sign up process.
- Upon completion you will pay a joining fee equating to one month's membership and for the month you're in. For example a West Stand Premium member would pay £29 to sign up and £29 for their first month.
- From there a monthly direct debit start the following month which will be collected on the 1st or the 16th of the month depending on if you join before or after the 16th.
CAN I PAY FOR MONTHS IN ADVANCE?
- YES! Supporters can purchase any number of months in advance but must be a minimum of three months at a time. Please be aware that if your membership isn't renewed and expires you will have to complete the sign up process including the joining fee again.

Although if you join in January this line "Upon completion you will pay a joining fee equating to one month's membership and for the month you're in. " suggests you pay just £2 per adult as the fee.

| I wish it was true but the membership will start from february and the joining fee will be the £29pm. I've never been happy about the joining fee and a flat rate of £5-10 makes more sense to me than this variable rate which seems really odd.
I think the key issue from what is being said is the number of home games per month is 1 maybe 2 when football is nearly double that. This makes the membership offered poorer value for Rugby League than when compared to the football membership.
Premium WestExample:
Broncos assuming 15 games (including challenge cup - probably showing my ignorance here ,would also include any home friendlies)
On the door = £345 @ £23 per game
Bronco Membership = £213pa @ £14.20 per game.
Bronco Mmbrshp + joining = £242 @ £16.13 per game.
Hive Membership, book online = £309.25 @ £20.62 per game.
Meaning Hive membership is only value for money if you go to 13 or more games.
The Broncos membership is cheaper compared to Hive membership or full price if you go to 10 games or more (11 including joining fee)
Barnet FC assuming 27 games
On the door = £621 @ £23
Bees Membership = £348pa @ £12.88 per game.
Bees Membership + Joining = £377 @ £13.96
Hive Membership, book online = £553.85 @ £20.51 per game.
Meaning Hive membership is cheaper if you go to 24 games.
Bees membership is cheaper if you go to 15 (16 with joining fee) games compared to full price or 17 (18 with joining fee) games with Hive membership.
Sorry if I have got carried away. I guess the point I am making is that while at first glance Barnet and Bronco fans are being asked to pay the same, the maths show the Barnet membership is better value. Most noticable is when comparing the Membership including the joining fee as the Bronco membership is 15% more expensive.

| look at the membership its thing similar to joining a gym! you have to pay a joining fee for a gym generally, and come on lets be honest you are gonna use more heartbeats watching the Broncs than any session in a gym!!
elation/panic/despair/joy the lot all rolled in to one session.
Settle down gutters I know you will have to comment saying there will be little elation or joy, I will say it for you!!

| On this membership lark, is there any point in joining in February as it appears to me that with only one game scheduled, a 'member' would pay more that someone paying on the gate against Salford?

I'm inclined to agree, I can see there are a few games on the fixture list that I know I won't be able to make so I think I'll be back to being a walk up punter for the first time in a number of seasons.

That's a very good point actually, I presume the month runs from first calendar day to last calendar day of month regardless of when you start as well, so if you sign-up mid-Feb you pay for all of Feb, or they'd have to pro-rata the payments during the off-season?
Personally it's not worth me signing-up to a full membership, the 3 hour plus round trip is pushing things a bit now, so I'll miss more games. I didn't make all the games in my ST for the last few seasons but renewed because with parking and kids thrown in it was still decent value even if I only got to 8 or 9 games. It may or may not be worth getting a Hive Membership, but as I will have to pick and choose my games I may be better off waiting to see what discounting gets chucked about once any initial buzz dies down (there was a big buzz when we moved to The Stoop, but I'm not getting that vibe given how far backwards we've gone since then, without wishing to be a doom monger this seems like deciding to keep the life support going on a terminal patient).

Might be worth someone checking the Challenge Cup. As this money seems to go to Barnet, and we have to pay a share of any CC gate to the RFL and the opposition, I'm not sure it would be included. Unless of course the RFL are mandating it again for the round we enter at. As the free away tickets for kids seem to have gone that may be a dangerous presumption. Hopefully that one, subject to a home draw, is still there. If it is just the league games the savings start getting a little skinny unless you take advantages of the bolt ons or really value a reserved seat.

No, that's not what I suggested at all.
Fans of the club will attend games, which is expected, but it is you happily marching towards a TK Membership, grinning from ear to ear whilst handing over the cash for your 12 month membership (or you'll pay the joining fee again) like nothing has happened, that will make Gus et al feel justified in the way they have messed with the club, the business and the fans.
As many have said, 'we've moved and there's SFA we can de about it"......but to BLINDLY ACCEPT this new order is to condone the shocking way in which friends, colleagues and other members of the club staff have been treated, not to mention the total and utter disregard for the fans.

Well said that man. I will of course will continue support the team but with no illusions as to the path we are on currently.

Same for wife, son and I. Cost and time involved means we'll pick and choose games rather than go to all and probably do some away games which are not that much further than the trip to London.
