Every London fan recognises that the club neglected junior development for years, until relatively recently. It's no secret. If they hadn't we'd have had more than the odd LMS and Clubb come through, and wouldn't have had to rely on putting almost 17 antipodeans on the pitch in the early 2000's, way above the clubs (already specially larger) import quota and achieved through various creative passport management techniques - hence my amusement at a long-standing fan criticising Rovers for having the same attitiude.

Unfortunately true. Manys the discussion had here abouts in the early 00's about junior players and development and the lack of support the club in those days "appeared" to give to the subject while being quick to claim support of whatever junior development was going on, Suzanne & Phil aside, not much was being done to assist them at the time.

Just to help you out about the 'Early 2000's' was 11 years ago, the guy I took exception too was talking as if Quins still do not have any sort of youth set up.

It's nothing to do with injuries Rob, it just makes sound financial sense for Quins to get a few loan players in for the year as they cannot afford to spend anywhere near the cap.

They cant play 4 or 5 young kids all at the same time, week in week out, nobody could do that.

Personally I couldn't care less what's said about our actions, clearly we have operated within the rules, if we hadn't then our movements would have been blocked.

We are having a poor season by our standards, but still have home support the Experiment can only dream of, and tommorow will be taking approximately the same support to Wakefield as you guys managed for a home game this evening.
