Let me assist Torbreck. No we don’t. Mockedriki can whallop the ball but when it comes to goal kicks, right in front of the sticks is his default. In his defence no one else seems to have put their hand up so he’s doing his best. I expect to see Ulberg et al stepping out of bounds whilst trying to improve the kicking angle becoming a regular thing.

We recruited him from Elite 1, which is a strange shop window for us to be looking in as I would rate it as on par with our 3rd tier, although more Keighley than Cornwall. We know what 3rd rate players deliver.....just look at the table.
He's an Aussie of Italian heritage and has 2 caps so far, which according to RL Project, saw him played on the wing. The highlights reels available for him show him at 6/7, and his stats show he is not a first choice goal kicker. I'm going to assume we've signed him as a pivot, something that Chisholm showed we needed.
Underwhelmed by this signing. Back in the days when we signed a Dorn or a Moran, there was excitement about what these Aussies could add, but after hard blowing our own trumpet on development and coveyer-belts of talent, it's a shame that we go trawling the depths of french club RL for Australians on their BIG OE (overseas experience)....he has seen France and now we're paying him to see London....nice for him
'"
My take on this is this: he hasn’t played a minute for us yet so I’m not going to put the knife in. I’m hoping he’s going to be good and that at least 3 similarly talented players join him. As is we are in strife so we need to roll the dice.
On that point I saw both Jones and Dixon on the touch line for the 1895. What a shame we didn’t retain them or replace them.

'" We have a bit of form with Elite One players, 2017 John Boudebza (Lezignan), 2018, Eloi Pellissier also from Lezignan & Daymeric Pelo from Limoux (don't think he actually played for us), in 2021 Pat Moran signed from Avignon. Maybe we are hoping to pick up the next Hussein M'Barki who ironically didn't play in Elite 1

| So Broncos pushing the announcement of 2 signings with the same name on Twitter. Don't much care that they have the same name as long as they are a step up from what we have.

It's Sam Hall and former player Sam Davis. Interesting that Davis is back for the rest of the season. While Will Blakemore is leaving the club.

[iSuper League talent Hall and ex-Bronco Davis sign on-loan ahead of Dewsbury trip
by Broncos Media | Jun 10, 2022 | 2022, Club News | 0 comments
London Broncos are pleased to confirm the loan signings of Super League prop Sam Hall and former player Sam Davis ahead of Sunday’s Betfred Championship visit to Dewsbury.
Castleford Tigers’ Hall has signed a one-month agreement while Davis joins from York City Knights for the remainder of the season after learning his trade via the Broncos’ academy pathway.
Both players are available for selection on Sunday when the Broncos travel to west Yorkshire to play Dewsbury Rams in the Betfred Championship.
Interim Head Coach Mike Eccles said both Hall and Davis boast outstanding potential and will play important roles during their respective loan periods.
“Sam (Hall) is a big unit and a true ball-playing middle who has fantastic ability as both a carrier and being able to shift possession around the field,” said Eccles. “We’re really excited about his potential and it’s great to have him onboard for the next month.
“We’re also thrilled to have secured Sam (Davis) on loan for the remainder of the season. Personally, I view Sam as a perfect example of the type of player we continually aspire to produce at London Broncos.
“He progressed through our academy system and has applied his knowledge and understanding from those experiences to adapt to first-team Rugby League. I’m pleased to have him back in the squad again.
“We’d like to thank Castleford and York for use of both players and we look forward to working with them.”
The Broncos would also like to confirm prop Will Blakemore has left the club after requesting a release. Blakemore made his Broncos debut in 2020 after graduating from our academy system and leaves the club with our very best wishes.
Eccles added: “We’re said to see Will leave the Broncos and on behalf of everyone at the club I would like to thank him for his services both as an academy player and for the first team. Will is a good and honest player, and we wish him every success for the future.”[/i

My guess was the Greenhlagh’s had re-signed. Looks like we went a different way. Promising day’s recruitment although it wouldn’t upset me if we tried signing players and recruiting coaches a little in advance of key games so they can bed in.

Rochdale!! His commitment to staying in the North is impressive but it feels like on the playing side at least it’s not worked out. There are a few who aren’t picking up much game time post Broncos but there we are.

| Dixon should score sackfuls at 'Dale. His record with you and KR speaks for itself but it he was only ever going to play Violin II at Leigh and with the emergence of Brand as a wing and then the acquisitions of Inu & Fergy he's now at the back of the double basses.
You should make an offer.

Kieran left the Broncos, who had offered him a new full time contract. To go part time at York, because he wanted to move in with his girlfriend who lives up that way. I was told.

It is what it is. Good luck to him. He’d clearly be a step up for us although not sure it would greatly reduce our defensive frailties. The truth is though that there are other positions where a returning Bronco would be much more of a priority at this stage of the season. Maybe they will come, maybe they won’t. Odds on they will come (along with a full time coach) but a little too late to avoid relegation. We’ll see.

We did Bongser. 3 drinks vouchers valid at any London pub. Easily worth £21. We can’t do much more than that owing to our unfeasibly large ground/multiple training pitch costs.

Not so much failed as "can't/won't tackle. I have the same issue with my 7yr old boy at the moment, although in his defence he is only 7. When a winger doesn't tackle it weakens that entire side....Jamie O'Callaghan springs to mind.....

He (Dixon, not your 7 year old ) did have a real 'mare in one of only three appearances for Leigh. One try to his name but account very much in the red.
Got quite excited a minute ago in the light of your upcoming fixture, as there was a post on the Dewsbury forum. Turned out to be spam. Probably won't be removed as their mods likely ceased to attend some time ago.
All the best for tomorrow.

Cheers Bongser. It’s interesting isn’t it that some teams’ fans won’t truck chatting xxxt (as the kids have it) about their team on line. I thought it was pretty standard but perhaps Dewsbury fans restrict themselves to RL related discourse to the Hanged Man public house or Retreat from Kabul curry house and more power to their arm I say. Who knows what will happen tomorrow but it may well decide who goes down to L1 so I hope our first team will stay off the magic mushrooms tonight.

I thought Gahan was our best import. Shame he’s out for the season. Let’s we what the new guys can do.

| Whitehaven see the benefit of spending a bit to dodge the Relegation battle. Corentin Le Cam and César Rougé are signed up for the next 3 games from France whilst Luke Broadbent leaves Warrington for Cumbria for the remainder of 2022. Broadbent was at Workington earlier in the season, so Wire see the benefit of keeping him and loaning him...the two from France come off the back of another good Elite 1 season and Le Cam has played for the dragons once. York, Batley and Barrow on the menu for Haven before they face Fev and Leigh...if they remain winless in the next 5, then they have to be the target we aim for
