| Never mind, SWL Chargers had an excellent win over Skolars A at Old Blues RFC. In New Malden.

| I was at the game and completely missed Scott Moore's sending off - no wonder we were so out played in the second half. Did his head high tackle cause the punch up that I thought the Stokes had contributed too by being so out of control during much of the 1st half? As to Drinkwater's kicking game he seems worse that Witt with recent performances - or am I being to harsh? But some kudos to Atelea Vea for some excellent play and who was our only player to come up to mix with the fans still leaning on the fence after this disastrous game with Nesi hobbling around behind. Oh yes, I bought a jersey too.

| Torbreck you weren't the only one, apparently Radio Humberside missed it as well as colleague sitting beside me!
Willow that was only 8 bloody 1 though.
Thought ref had a shocker and was cause of the fight. Can see us having a few penalised though. Comic moment when Ellis drops ball at the play the ball and ref penalises us. From penalty
Hull score immediately a seemingly good try for ref to save himself gives a forward pass.
Got to say Hull were struggling against us until the sending off. If the two chalked off tries had counted it would have been a different proposition. Even down to 12 Hull were hardly convincing.

4438_1358277234.jpg Didn't gat an answer when I asked Radford how much he paid Stokes to save his job.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_4438.jpg |

| Stokes was shocking and inept. Wish he was in the ring at Wembley at the moment with Vea. That would be fun to see!

I missed it too, mostly due to a 4 year trying to go to sleep on my knee !

Though the ref was ok first half - a bit whistle happy maybe. Was sat in line of that pass and it was fractionally forward... had no qualms about chalking that one off.

No - first half we were not -second half probably a bit lax as we thought against 12 men it would be a stroll.. fair play you proved it was not the case, until you tired at the end.
Oh, and there was more then 1000 there - some London fans we where talking to said it was the biggest away following all year...

| Not sure what to think about that yesterday, thought we played pretty well but we were already 16 down by the time the sending off came around.
I don't agree with dropping Krasniqi, I can't imagine anyone would prefer Wallace over him (not slating Wallace but he's not as Olsi's level yet), and we don't go left enough. I'd move Vea to left SR and with him, MCB and Solomona there we'd be a real threat. Even with 12 Caton-Brown was making breaks.
I want to like Drinkwater as he shows stuff from time to time but he was poor yesterday, I know we have a small pitch but by now you'd like to think he'd know how much to put on a grubber. Mataitonga looked okay in the halves I thought, would probably stick with that combo and leave Farrar at FB.
The ref was bad but looked a fair red card from where I was sitting, swinging arm and caught him flush on the chin. I actually felt Moore was our MOTM up to then, very good in defence and no mistakes with the ball that I can think of.
We showed enough to keep me hopeful though, we will win a match!

| We had 3 tries disallowed and failed to score from 4 cleanbreaks. So we were doing something right. Desperate lack of pace in the side. If Dixon had been in the side he would have had a field day.

| My first visit to the Hive. Like the ground but was well-surrounded by Hull fans.
I missed the send-off too. Did wonder where Moore was in second half though, but for all his good touches, the guy is a liability. Knew Farrar was off early but didn't realise that Nesi was injured. No wonder we struggled late on. Drinkwater was terrible, not just his kicking but also his lack of creativity, wasting tackles with pointless short passes near Hull's line.
As ever this season, we were completely outmuscled in the pack.
Worth an 8 1/2 hour return journey? Oh no. I'll be at the Widnes game by prior arrangement but unless Grima's miracle happens quickly. that'll be it for me.

| Our first and last game at the Hive yesterday. We had to pay full as we couldnt prove we were pensioners, soemone needs to let them know pensions are paid into the bank now and not everyone has a pension book or driving licence and why would I carry a utility bill around with me? Asked whether we were home or away fans we answered home, when we got in the ground we were sat amid the throng of Hull fans who were the most foul mouthed people you have ever met (I know not all people from Hull are like that but the ones around us were) - We were up and down in our seats as they were backwards and forwards to the bar - drunk as skunks, we missed Moore being sent off, missed the fight and missed most of the game due to jumping up and down to let them in and out of their seats. At half time we gave up and went home. Will the 3 of us return to the Hive NO which is a shame after 20 years as fans. Plus side is the Hive is a very neat ground and wonderful for the fans its a shame the club is such a mess and no-one behind the scenes has any idea how to run a club. Advertised as a family game and the language was a disgrace and the two young families in front of us were not amused and they we saying they were going to write to the club but would not return as it was worse than football labguage.

Booked my ticket through the website. When I told it I was "home" it offered me a choice of seats. Wondered where the Hull fans would be, so tried "away". It offered me what appeared to be exactly the same choice of seats.
