One difficulty is getting the young un's to travel and require mum and dad for a lift and this does not happen, for many which involves a long distance either by car or public transport. Open age teams generally play at the same time as the Broncos. London is a big place and LB support is rather spread out. The issue is one of attracting local support to attend.

The community and amateur young players are vital for long term success, how many amateur RL clubs are there in the Twickenham area? |

Depends what you term the "area" but within 10 miles radius there are the following:
Elmbridge Eagles
Hammersmith Hill Hoists
South London Storm (just)
West London Sharks
Croydon Hurricanes
Staines Titans

What disturbs me is that they seem to be able to make a hash now of simple things. Just from yesterday:
1. The nonsense over having to return the Leyton tickets
2. The Dewsbury team being read out before kick off to a dance music cacophony so it was impossible to hear it.
3. The club's website being incapable of putting up the team that actually played for us.
None of this should be difficult for a professional outfit.
