| I know you can't always tell things just looking at the tries, but some of those were quite appalling. A total lack of desire to defend the line on display.

I'd sack the coach now, but no doubt Hughes will reward him with an extension on his contract.

| Grima's inane post match comments concern me. Is this how he deals with the players ?

What concerns me is that he looks like a rabbit stuck in the headlights. If he were any further out of his depth he'd be sitting on the deck of the Titanic.......an utter disaster of a recruitment, but apparently saying so isn't popular in these parts.....too many folk toeing the party line and genuflecting at the altar of St David of Swinton!

Am i missing something, or why have you changed your name?
As always, your analysis is right (to a point). But Hughes isnt going, so that a blind alley. as for Grima, jury out but appalling display on sunday, and no sensible reason in press conference, isnt good....
i am going to Leigh for my sins......

I shudder to think!
I was prepared to give JG a lot of leeway last season, but this is his squad, with a full preseason of his preparation - if he can't inspire them to get going in the next couple of games then maybe he isn't the man for the job. Don't mean to be advocating pressing the panic button but we need to be in that top 4 - if JG can't do that for us then we need to get someone in who can and sharpish!

| Just a question for Gutters oops enig, so if Mr Hughes had actually pulled his money and walked, which forum would you have been posting on? This one would not be in existance as the 6 people left on the staff would probably be working elsewhere as the club would not be in existance.
Not sure if you noticed, no one was rushing into rescue us! and the RFL would have happily let us drown!

| JG still has plenty of time to fix things IMO. Watching the Sheffield tries made me feel slightly better as it happens. The defensive structure wasn't breached physically - it was energy, anticipation and nous that was missing.
It is obvious that Ben Hellewell is not a winger and that is an easy fix with Macani or Morris ready to step up. Equally, Rhys Williams is a bit of an oil tanker on the other wing - in which case, let Farrar attack from centre but defend on the wing. Williams is better than Farrar in the defensive line anyway. When you think about it, Mathers, Hellewell and Williams are neither lightning quick nor mobile - it makes sense for the oppo to target them with attacking kicks.

Agreed, hopefully we see a back 3 of Walker, Williams & Macani on Sunday with Naiqama & Hellewell in the centres.
Still badly need an experienced general at scrum half
