| Is it £400,000 p.a.? Really?
Sounds steep if it's true. Manly pay around $400,000 p.a. to play at Brookvale and that'd be not just for first grade, but for when NSW Cup and the juniors play there separately at different weekends as well as first grade.

| Probably more if you convert into pounds and add a retainer fee on top of match day fees. RFU rip off me thinks given what we are likely to pay at on the road grounds.

I repeat my question..........Why would they(HARLEQUINS) want to cut off a revenue stream that, if the 30k a game figure that is claimed is right, then there's nearly 400k a year they'd lose for very little disruption?
You are the one that suggested that maybe Quins wanted us out.....but put forward not one shred of evidence to back it up.....it was designed to add weight to your East is Best campaign....which is itself flawed from start to finish.'"
gutterfax, you are the one not myself who always claims to know all the facts and swear them to be correct, My Opinion is with Quins they may think now is it really worth it, they may also feel we are damaging their brand.
Perhaps East London will give me a commission for promoting what a superb part of the capital it is! LOL!!

simpsons/017.jpg Welcome Quins Kitties born 02.04.09 -
Purdo - Determined, loveable with a "can-do" attitude. A born leader.
Louie - Big, white and fluffy. A very noisy prop forward.
Harley- Cute and gorgeous (just like our no.9) Well, I couldn't call her Chad, could I?
Update on Quins Mogs :-
Purdo - deffo leader amongst Mogs. The Capo.
Louie - turned out to be more like Louie Spence than LMS. Re-named Judas.
Harley - Cute but not as gorgeous as our no.9.
Oh well, at least I haven't got a Willy.:simpsons/017.jpg |

| DH said last year that we were paying £200,000 pa for The Stoop...when Paul Blanchard was CEO he said the rent was very reasonable.
Doubt that Quins would want rid of us while we are keeping our noses clean, so to speak. £200,000 buys them another player and its unlikely they would get involved with another Union club (there was an unhappy alliance with the Not-nots a while back).
Talk of us getting our own stadium is complete pie-in-the-sky...it ain't going to happen anytime soon.

£200K is the figure I have heard before, which seems decent value.

So your opinion is that this season, you know, the season we have rebranded to become the LONDON BRONCOS, will be the season, that Harlequins are going to decide we are damaging their brand, and this didn't occur to them in any of the 6 seasons we were called HARLEQUINS?
Truly you win every award going for opinions that are one chip short of a happy meal.

The True Jokers are those who can see no wrong in the Quins brand and the damage it is doing to us as a Super League Club! do you not think it would have seemed strange foe our landlords to kick us out when we carried the same name.
If I want to play your silly games of name calling which I don't like to do as it is more like girls in the school yard, then consider you come over as nothing less than a fruit cake with such a stupid comment!
So many seem to think that it is "Pie in the Sky" we will ever move, well I just can't see us staying at The Stoop forever if we remain in Super League, that is my opinion and I stick by it.

| I never said it is "pie in the sky" that we will ever move, I said we won't be getting our own stadium.
Jaybs- you seem confident we will be getting our own stadium, please enlighten us at to where the money will be coming from. Have you won the Euro lottery or something?

If I win the Euro, we will have Our Own Stadium! be it East, North or West! or South, whichever area we can really be part of the community and build upwards! - if we have to ground share again, please Not a union club and I am not anti union at all, I was a full member at Orrell RUFC in their glory days with my mate Peter Williams and John Carleton, but it was so different at Orrell I tell you.

As ever you cannot actually answer the question instead always going off on one tangent or another.
There was no name calling in my post, so no requirement for a response.
Answer the question please, why are the London Broncos being damaged by the Quins brand [your new point above] and how does that relate to your original opinion that we are damaging the Quins brand more this season than in any other?
And you wonder why people have difficulty following your posts. If you can't answer fine, leave it.

So is it £200,000 or Gutterfax's nearly £400,000?
