| The ticket prices seem fine to me.
Especially season ticket and half season ticket.
Its a massive hike which means we will not make the games. from £99 per season to £25 per game. We are not made of money and neither are a hell of a lot of fans. Two of us equates to £50 for one game, no car parking so £40 return for two on the train and cab fare (unable to walk too far) plus programme and there is a season ticket paid for without a drink or food. This price increase should have been done over two seasons not all at once, Many fans cant afford that kind of money for 80 minutes entertainment and more so as many may well have lost their jobs. Like a lot of people on here say you cannot commit to a season, half season ticket when the ground is not even confirmed.. Worth it for SL but a bit too far for championship.
Good bye Broncos I will go to three or four away games where I can drive and stop over a couple of nights and make them my little holidays for the year.

| I think Archiepercy nails it there.
The cheap season tickets were under priced and a correction is understandable. However; doing it one fell swoop in the time of Corona virus impacting many incomes was ambitious. A phased In increase would have been wise. Especially as we don't know which stadium the season ticket is for.

| The forty podcast is well worth a listen this week.
In the first segment they interview the London scholars coach Jermaine Coleman. He's speaks very well he also notes the broncos were in talks to share new River stadium with scholars.
So I'd guess if there is any delay to plough lane we'll be sharing with scholars.
But that's a total guess.
Also interesting the NFL have set up a small performance centre at new River.

| I did wonder if Skolars ground might be an option. Realistically we're likely to have fans at 9 home games. Walk up for an adult is £225. Half membership plus admission for 9 games is £210. Ok, you get a polo shirt and a number of live streams and priority entrance if numbers are limited but if you miss one home game or we get another lockdown the economic case is on knife edge.

| They should be well aware of the fans feelings if the Monkey & the Lobster have any ability. I would hope the beloved Supporters Club (if it still has any members) are forcefully making supporters views known.

| Wow this thread has blown up since my last post..
So explaining where I stand here
1) Last year we had 3 Gold Season tickets (2 full, 1 concession), so the ticket cost is not that big a difference for us in terms of outlay
2) The big increase for us is getting to the ground. £5 per game for parking for three of us in a small susuki alto, compared now to £60 per game for the three of us to get to Plough Lane
3) Also I really can't see my Dad being able to do the trip, considering how full the bus is likely to be on the return back, and the fact of waiting times on a Sunday
So we are still supportive of the club, but for 2021 I don't see us attending any games (me and my brother will probably go to the Bradford game, just to get an idea of the trip, to see if we feel my dad can make it, if that goes ok, then we might attend more)
Now for 2022, if the club was to get into an parking arragement with a local school or similar (like at Brentford when there was also very limited parking), I can see us coming back next year, but 450+ in travel costs for 9 games its not really worth the hassle considering at best we are a mid table team. I still remember the 2015 shambles vs Hunslet, and I fear a few more like that coming this year.
I think our live sports fix for 2021 will start in september watching Surry Scorchers basketball, and hopefully in 2022 the club will have some form of parking arrangements in place, and we will look to come back. But 60 pounds for the three of us to travel when it used to be 5 for parking is something we probabaly will not be able to justify apart from the odd game

| I'd suggest speaking to the club when the ground is named.
Credit where credit is due, the club assisted a terminally ill friend of mine, ensuring they could attend one last game the season before last.
I'd hope that if there is a disabled space going un-booked - I presume they are pre-booking - they would allow you to park under the circumstances, albeit you'd have uncertainty game to game whether the space was free. Not ideal but hopefully something would be possible.

| Quote [There lies the problem. We now accept championship rugby and relegation from SL as the norm./quote
That’s not quite what I meant. I am not accepting Championship rugby. I, personally, have enjoyed the last few years of rugby we have played, any other season we would have stayed in SLand could have built. The financial consequences of relegation where severe and are forcing a rebuild - but I believe we can still make a run at promotion and we may have money to sign players for a run in at the end of the season

I'm not blaming the club, I know their hands are tied in lot of this, and its a lot of moving parts... Problem is he is not Disabled / just late 70's so not that mobile any more. For me its just the logistics of it, I know the club have limited options and I really hope it all works out for them this year.

I'm out of touch, does the supporters club have any lobbying function or is it simply a group of individuals (apologists) in the back pocket of the club?
